Single Trip and Annual Travel (from now on referred to as the insurance) can be issued to people of all nationalities who travel abroad in connection with holidays, study and business or combined business and leisure trips.

Clients up to the age of 79 can take out the insurance. Children under 2 years of age are insured free of charge under the parent’s policy but have to be registered on the policy. If a child under 2 years of age needs to travel alone, the child must pay the premium for the age group 2-16 years.

There are no limitations as regards employment, professions involving dangerous sports activities or dangerous activities such as offshore work. However, please note that active participation in any motor show, race or competition is not covered.

The insurance does not cover in the country where the insured has a permanent residential address.

The insurance provides unlimited worldwide cover for all medically prescribed expenses in case of acute illness and injury (an unexpected condition which occurs after the insurance has been taken out and the trip has commenced).

The client has free choice of doctors and hospitals while staying abroad, as long as the treating physician is authorized in the country of practice. AOC Insurance Broker will be happy to offer guidance and advice, if needed. International Insurance companies only covers medical evacuation to the home country or to another place of treatment, in case it is not possible to receive the required treatment and on condition that insurance medical consultants together with the treating physician agree that the client must be transferred. Evacuation in case of epidemics, natural disasters, war, civil commotion or terrorist acts will also be covered by the insurance.
